Canine Unit Tour November 13

If you missed the event with the Police Dogs in September, this is your chance to see them.

Tanya is arranging a demonstration for Thursday, November 13th at 4pm, meet in the parking lot on west side of Police Station. This is the only time available as the dogs work at night. “Ray” and “Max” are great dogs to see in action. This is a very interesting tour and you will not want to miss it.

So please sign up with by November 5th.

Fitness Challenge Update Week 3

For the week of October 20 - October 24, our fitness total is

3585 minutes = 59 hours and 45 minutes = 2day, 11 hours and 45 minutes


Total for Fitness Challenge:

8725 minutes = 145 hours and 25 minutes = 6 days, 1 hours and 25 minutes

Fitness Challenge Update Week 2

For the week of October 14 - October 17, our fitness total is

1640 minutes = 27 hours and 20 minutes = 1 day, 3 hours and 20 minutes



Total for Fitness Challenge:

5140 minutes = 85 hours and 40 minutes = 3 days, 13 hours and 40 minutes

Art Classes Oct 30 - Nov 27

Start: Thursday, October 30
End: Thursday, November 27

5 weeks of classes, 1:30pm – 3pm on Thursdays

Each Thursday we will meet at the Art Center (in front of City Hall) on Central Ave. There will be individual projects and a group project.

The group project will be exhibited in April of 2009.

Cost will be $2 per kid as a thank you. This is for the whole 5 weeks no matter how many times you attend. Joyce will be collecting the money.
